Job
Costing & Scheduling
This
is the heart of the system. Estimate jobs and retrieve those
estimates into Order Entry, or simply apply time and materials
to jobs without estimates. Either way you gain control over
shop activity. Estimated jobs can be scheduled through the
system using finite forward or backward scheduling. Job
status and work in process is available down to the detail
level of labor, purchases, and materials. Shop floor data
collection provides on-line real time information of both
direct and indirect time.
Some Features Are:

Automatic routing set-up for time and materiel jobs -
no need to set up the job in advance of running. This
is a major time saving feature.
- Burden
application by employee department, work center, machine
or operation.
- Accommodates
customer supplied materials, goods form stock or purchase
requisition information.
- User
defined operations, departments, work centers, machines,
etc... Modification options for adjusting previously established
methods (global updates; create a method from a method).
Multiple level bill-of-materials available through sub-component
processing. Allocation of material to jobs if desired.
Status of job progress available for customer support
inquiries.
Extensive screen inquiry for all aspects of the job progression
and financial considerations.
Job purchases and routing materials to necessary departments
facilitated by on-screen inquiries.
Job estimates available using methods files.
Job cost hours sent to Payroll program (optional).
Single entry of labor updates, routing, employee efficiency,
payroll, etc..
Job specific purchases are updated in Job Management/Costing
by purchasing system.
Estimating permits timely quotes for similar jobs or re-quoting.
Stockroom pick lists and shop travelers printed. Traveler
show shipments, estimated time, materials and quality
control.
Quality control information available for each product
(optional).
Work-In-Process detail for shop reporting, cost control
and accounting department functions.
labor efficiency reporting.
Indirect labor reporting by department or individual employee.
Methods maintained for operations, materials, subcontract
purchases, quality control and user-defined specifications.
Data Collection provides up to the minute status of work
